Nearly everything is accepted: reusable household goods, tires, electronics, metal, appliances, mattresses, construction debris, household hazardous waste, and more.
  • Where:
The cleanup is located just off of Shepard Road between Alton and Davern. The above map provides better details of how to reach the site.
  • When: This 1-day event takes place on Saturday, September 24th, from 8:00 am until 1:00 pm.
  • Who: Anyone who lives in Saint Paul is welcome to bring their junk. If you’re a senior or resident with disabilities living in the Highland Park or MacGrove neighborhoods, call 651-695-4005 to sign up for the event’s limited pick-up service.
  • Cost: Depending on the size of the load, the cost is $15 – 30 per vehicle. Some items, such as tires, mattresses, and certain appliances, have additional fees ranging from $3 to $20.
  • Extra Info: Volunteers are still needed! If you work a 3-hour shift, you qualify for a $20 voucher towards material disposal and a free lunch. Call 651-695-4005 or email to learn more.
Are you already busy that weekend? There will also be a cleanup event in October. This community cleanup event will be located at the MN Fair Grounds. Visit the Como Park Community Council webpage for more information. Feature Image:
